Kota Tua to Prevent Street Vendors with Fence

The fence installation to prevent street vendors will be applied in Kota Tua, Taman Sari, West Jakarta.

Fence installation is applied at seven points such as right and left side of post office, right side of Batavia Cafe, Lorong Seni, Jalan Virgin, Jalan Kali Besar Timur, and in front of West Jakarta Immigration Office.

M Kadir Sasmita, Head Unit of Kota Tua Management, said that the stakeholder gives positive respond related to this plan. He also submitted the idea to Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama. Another coordination is also made with Jakarta Cultural Reservation Object Supervision Section for Tourism and Culture Dept.
